It's time to get FUNKY
In light of the sobering times in which we live, the kids and I decided it was time to get a little funky. And this one's going out to Big Doug in Mt Juliet--come on, show us your moves!
We LOVE this song - my mom gave my daughter this CD for Christmas last year, and I made our entire family do this dance! (So glad there wasn't a video camera rolling!)
You remember Big Doug in college. He didn't have much rhythm then and doesn't have much now. Not sure how low he can go to the flo anymo...with all the knee surgeries he has had from playing basketball. However, he can still "do the butt". You remember that song. You just don't want to be behind him when he is doing it. Remember he is 6'6". Hee!!Hee!! Hopefully he will be able to pass this talent down to our children.
oh my gosh! ya'll are crazy!! i love it!!! and christy you can bank on your kids having AMAZING moves!!! i mean hello....i have taught them all i know!! ha....ha...ha...
While you are thinking about the party hat from 1994 New Years Eve...Remember the fall. He fell pretty hard. Same thing happened halloween night. We were trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with our kids, when all of a sudden, I see this Darth Vader mask go flying past my head. I looked back and Doug had fallen down the hill. He stepped in a hole. I thought to myself, how in the world am I going to get him home. Luckily he was able to walk back home and prop his foot up.
glad for the darth vader clarification....b/c i was like doug...darth vader....nice.
and i think maria.....you and your family should come to nashville for a visit sometime.....and i need to know about it.....and then the hottest dance party of all time can happen!!!!!
ps! can you even believe christy got haylee a dog! seriously you have known her basically forever....and i am sure know how no dogs she was! it is proof that God is real!
okay...well when ya'll do I NEED to know b/c i will make a special trip to be there....... and then...can keep all of the kiddo's and PETS while you BFF's catch up go out on the TOWN!

Oh! By the way, he was not Darth Vader. He was carrying the mask for a neighborhood kid. Wasn't sure if you were picturing him as a big Darth Vader.
